Chap 65: Distance and Danger

Conal heard loud noises and assumed the man was smashing furniture due to what Azura had just said.

"Azura, don't be excited so soon! Do you know who came here looking for you? That's Conal. Isn't he an immortal werewolf too?"

Hearing Louis mention Conal, Azura's face changed, and his eyes flashed with worry and insecurity. Did he wake up from a coma that lasted for two years? And he risked his life to come here to find her? Although her whole body was a wound, Conal's coming here to find her was like calming the pain; she couldn't contain her emotions; tears fell on her cheeks.

Louis saw Azura's silence; he continued:

"I was also surprised that he brought the body here by himself! Now you are worth nothing. I will turn you and that idiot out there into monsters; you will have to listen to my instructions for the rest of your life. Do you understand? Soon I will catch Conal and let you enjoy the pain of watching the person you love die in front of you."
