Faced with choices

#Previously

I think I just found my most favourite place in Eric's house, and I couldn't wait until I could swim to start having fun in the waters.

After seating there for a while, I got up and decide to go back into the house because my feet were already beginning to shrink from being in the water for too long.

I walked over to the back door, while hoping that I would find that Eric had already come back because I didn't want to stay inside all by myself any more because I would be forced to think back to the things I didn't want to think about.

However, when I walked inside, the house was still empty, and it felt even emptier now that I had been hoping to find Eric inside, and i couldn't help but sigh and went back to sit on a sofa in the sitting room.

My mind wondering over things I probably can't control, and at the same time, my head couldn't help but wonder how I became like this ever since we left the island.
