Keera's POV

Eric and I went back to the cave after catching some bird that looked like a hawk but I don't know if it's really a hawk.

When we entered into the cave, Eric kept our game on the ground and started to make fire. He had already removed the unwanted part at the site of the hunt so all that's left to do was roast it.

I watched with keen interest as he made the fire and roasted our dinner like a professional, which made me wonder how long he'd been here for.

We were both quiet, none of us made any attempt to say anything, Eric only concentrated on making our dinner ready, while I just watched him silently.

After a while, Eric brought down the meat and cut it before handing me a piece, and we both ate it in another wave of silence.

After we finished our dinner, Eric stood up and asked if I wanted to come outside with him, I then got up and followed him.
