THE ENDING OF A LONG TIME FRIENDSHIP

Charles wasn't by my side by the time I woke up, did he already leave for work? I remained curled up in bed for a while as I had a flashback of yesterday. It was scary, and I never wanted to feel that way anymore. I didn't know what to do, I was confused and I couldn't have been more glad that Charles was there with me.

Who was that lady and what does she want from me? Why do I feel uneasy everytime I see her? I couldn't get her off my mind.

"Oh, you're up." I heard his voice and came back to reality, leaving my thoughts far behind me. I managed to stand up and smiled at him. "Are you okay? You look tired," he asked with so much care in his voice.

I finally got a full view of his outfit. He wore a suit as usual, but his demeanor looked different this time. He seemed drained out of all his energy in the world, but he still managed to look good looking.

"I could ask you the same."
