Chapter 20 Where Did the Rabid Dog Come From?

Silence descended upon the corridor.

The atmosphere became a little awkward.

There were no words to describe Lincoln's expression. He cleaned up well but he looked … like a waiter?

Even so, this was the first time someone had ever said that about him.

He couldn't help bursting into laughter.

"What are you laughing at?" Anthon frowned. "I can't believe you're selling yourself at such a young age. You're a disgrace to all men!"

Faye laughed with a hand over her mouth. She glanced at Lincoln, her gaze seemingly asking, "Are you going to stand for this?"

He wasn't, of course. Lincoln was amused and exasperated as he held his head high and looked at Anthon.

"Where did this clown come from? Is this how you leave an impression on someone?"

Anthon was about to retort when he saw his father, Michael Lynch, running toward them excitedly. "M-Mr. Colt, is that you?"

Anthon was stunned. "Dad, what are you talking about?"

"Mr. Colt, it's great to see you again." Michael pushed Anthon
