Chapter 29 I Love It When They Fall

"No, that's not true!" Faye bit her lip harder. Her voice was shaky. She tightly clenched her phone and stared at Tracy with wide eyes. "I didn't do anything!"

"You didn't do anything?" Tracy sneered. "I know you still have feelings for Anthon, Faye. You must be upset because we're getting engaged today. That won't change the fact that Anthon is in love with me. We've been together for so long. I thought you would've moved on by now."

Tracy threw herself into Anthon's arms and started weeping pitifully. "I didn't expect you to get revenge on me at our engagement party! And not like this!" She sobbed. "Anthon, did we really make a mistake?"

A few moments ago, Anthon had been head over heels for Faye's beauty. He'd even fantasized about bringing her home and announcing to the world that she was his. Now, Tracy's words made his expression darken.

"Did you really do this, Faye?" His gaze was sharp. "Why did you do it? Is it just because I love Tracy and not you?"
