Chapter 38 (Forced)

I didn’t realize for how long I was asleep until I heard loud commotions downstairs.

I could hear it was Gabriel’s voice and it felt like he was scolding the maids. I was startled when I heard glass breaks. So I sat up and got out of bed.

When I reached to the door and opened it Gabriel was already approaching my way.

I was shocked seeing his attire; he wasn’t wearing the coat from this morning, the shirts weren’t tugged in properly like before, his neat gelled hair was all messy and he wreaked alcohol.

“Did you seriously get this drunk on our wedding night?” I asked him as he entered the room.

“Oh I am so sorry Zayla. Did you want be to be sober for something?” he said with a smirk. His sarcasm wasn’t hidden.

“Let’s just talk tomorrow.” I closed the door and walked pass him but he grabbed my hand.

I tried to break free but he grabbed them even more tightly.

“Gabriel leave. You’re hurting me.”
