At The Party...
Just as Cherry imagined, the party was lame, boring, and too flashy for her liking that there was enough time to worry, think and wallow about her failing finances, future, goals, and how to escape the party.
“Is this what rich people call a party?” She complained beside Rex. “Good lord, I wish never to have such a boring lifestyle near me. This is wack!” She complained inwardly while following Rex like a second shadow. He promised to stick around throughout the party but now it seemed like he wanted her away as they got inside. Cherry didn't want to be left alone with many reach influential people flocking the whole building so she clung to his jacket wherever he went.
After a brief introduction and greeting with some guests Rex soon remembered he brought someone along, he look behind to see Cherry clinging tightly to his suit jacket. He unattached her grip wrinkling his jacket and made sure to entangled her arm with
Ray led her to a set of stairs and turned her so she was facing him. “I will have to cover your eyes now.” He said. “What! Why?” Cherry asked with an attitude. “Just trust me, you will love what you see.” He assures her. “I do hope so or I will have your neck!” She threatens. Ray chuckles and stands behind to cover her eyes. She allows him to lead them up the stairs until they were outside the house through a balcony. “Are you ready?” He asks. “Always!” She sighs. Rex removed his hands and stayed beside her. "So what do you think?" He asked. Cherry blinked rapidly to clear her vision and stare at the view in awe. "Wow!" She exclaimed. "I know right. I used to come here with my mom when I was a child, she loves this place." Ray says which touched her heart. It was the first time he ever said something about his family. Cherry always knew there is a tiny part in his heart that had a lot of compassion. "Where is sh
“Son of a bitch! What have you done!” Rex roared slamming his fist on Ray’s face. The sound echoed through the silent night. Ray stumbled back and balanced refusing to fall off the cliff. He held his bruised jaw and glared at his cousin and stepped away from the edge slowly. “Look man, I didn’t m-“ Another punch sounded in the cold night shutting Ray up. “SHUT UP! Just shut up.” Rex points an accusing finger at Ray, veins popped out on his skin as he fought against the urge to beat up his cousin. “Rex- Rex- Rex- it’s enough, don’t do this there are people watching.” Kate comes to pull him back from Ray. She pushes his chest using her own strength. “Cousin, you can’t blame me always for your mistake. It was an accident. I didn’t mean it!” Ray tries to make him understand none of it was his intention but Rex lunges for him only to be stopped by Kate warning him against fighting Ray and go look for Cherry instead. Rex ran to the edge of the cliff
Rex followed the ambulance closely even breaking traffic rules until finally stopping in the parking lot of the hospital. He wasted no time entering the building, searching the busy reception for signs of Cherry. Because the ambulance was faster and avoided most traffic Rex wasn’t able to meet up after they pulled over. He became restless thinking he was in the wrong hospital.“Excuse me, sir, are you looking for someone?” A nurse approaches him.Rex showed his ID stunning the young nurse. “Cherry Gilles…” He asks eagerly.“Sir? I- I didn’t know it was you, such an honor-” The nurse worshiped his presence and regrets not recognizing him earlier because of his messy state.“CHERRY GILLES!” He holds her shoulders asking with his eyes deep into her soul.“Do… down… down the hall, but you will need to see the doctor first his office is the first you will see when you
When Cherry woke up, she wasn’t in the hospital, the smell of hot chocolate alerted her senses making her eyes shine with life. She quickly hoists herself up desperate to find the source of the aroma. The room was dark and cold with the curtains drawn together, Cherry wondered where she was but as she tries to get up her head began to spin.“Why is it so cold in here, and why does my brain feel heavy?” She mumbles to herself and got back on the bed.The sound of footsteps caught her attention and the door was opened followed by the lights turning on. Cherry squints hating the harshness of the bright room attacking her weak eyes, she covers her eyes glancing at the person in front of her. He carried a tray of food and one big mug Cherry guessed to be hot chocolate. She noticed the person had frozen nearly dropping the hot chocolate mug. Cherry watched in horror wanting to save that mug of goodness before it slipped to the ground but was stopped by his
Rex tried to ignore the feeling and let the night be blissful with nothing to worry about, again Cherry tossed and turn even laid on his chest to get comfortable. This was starting to get out of hand so he calls her but trying to figure out what to say that will not sound uncomfortable.“Huh- Cherry?" He called cautiously.“Hmm…” She hummed in response with her face still hidden on his chest enjoying his warm hugs."Can you move?" He asked and waited for her reply. Cherry was surprised by his request when he was the one that offered his arms wide open for her to lay on."Do I make you uncomfortable?” She asked looking up at him with those tempting eyes, her eyes were talking to him, her body calling out to him, but NO! He refuses to allow the urge to take over.“Never! I just need some space… sorry I bothered you.” He looked deep into her blue eyes, they felt like spells calling out to him, telling
Some hours later… Rex woke up feeling his urges fulfilled, he flashed back to the first time he saw Cherry and the dreams that never left his mind every single day until last night. These dreams and imaginations were based on himself and Cherry alone, in each other’s arms, warm side by side. Knowingly and unknowingly he wonders what it will be like sharing the same bed with her but with each attempt he makes she refuses, and he isn’t the man to force himself on a woman against her will, but Rex believed Cherry was different, the attraction he felt for her is nothing compared to any woman in his previous life. His pride and ego are very dear to him. Who could have thought those dreams became a reality. Rex looked down on his chest watching Cherry sleep, he creepily watched the rise and fall of her back counting each breath she took. He smiled and kissed the top of her head. ‘she is really worn out’ He sighs and
Two months after... Cherry prepared colored spaghetti and some veggie kebab for herself and Rex. She waited patiently for him to come out of his room but he was taking longer than she could wait. After that blissful night two months ago Rex refused himself from touching her even when the lust forced him to. His undying attraction for Cherry has begun to bond him with her breaking all the laws he set aside. He promised that night was to fulfill his selfish needs but things were taking a different toll in his life as he craves for her more than ever. The few times he spent with her were brief because he had to leave seconds after. Temptation was vigorously pulling his chains away and if they are gone nothing will ever be the same. Cherry on the other hand had always been on edge in the past few weeks even rebelling publicly against Rex. Her strange behavior had Rex thinking she was still upset about that night which she never claimed t
Back in So-Ho… There isn’t a feeling much better than being back home and seeing the people you left behind. It has been three crazy rough months since their absence and everything inside the G-Stark building is looking out of the ordinary, simply strange. As Rex march stealthily into the building with Cherry trying to catch up with his pace, he had trouble recognizing his own company. Rex thought his sudden arrival would take everyone by surprise instead they were the ones to take him by surprise. “Welcome, sir!” The surprised staffs greeted Rex nervously while he walked to Ann’s desk. Something about the walls was different from the last time he saw them, and the extra fancy couches by the windows!. ‘I definitely did not order that!’Rex convinced himself. “Ann, what in the world happened here?” Rex asked his snobbish receptionist. “Maybe you should ask your fl-“ “Watch your tongue, Ann!
