Ch47: Fallen off the cliff
Ray led her to a set of stairs and turned her so she was facing him. “I will have to cover your eyes now.” He said.
“What! Why?” Cherry asked with an attitude.
“Just trust me, you will love what you see.” He assures her.
“I do hope so or I will have your neck!” She threatens. Ray chuckles and stands behind to cover her eyes. She allows him to lead them up the stairs until they were outside the house through a balcony.
“Are you ready?” He asks.
“Always!” She sighs. Rex removed his hands and stayed beside her.
"So what do you think?" He asked. Cherry blinked rapidly to clear her vision and stare at the view in awe.
"Wow!" She exclaimed.
"I know right. I used to come here with my mom when I was a child, she loves this place." Ray says which touched her heart. It was the first time he ever said something about his family. Cherry always knew there is a tiny part in his heart that had a lot of compassion.
