The pub is some ten blocks away from Nick’s apartment and the traffic made the ride longer.

They went inside the pub from the back door, as Dan never used the main door often because it is crowded with people who he barely knows and he hates wasting his time with unwanted talks and greetings.

It’s one of the busiest hours, they walked throw all the commotion to finally reach inside. It’s all filled with mostly men ranged from all ages and some women in elite clothes. She’s the odd one there, even Dan is dressed in a suit and overcoat.

Everybody in there greeted him, he smiled and had a small talk with the people who came to him. The environment is so new for Naomi. She has never been to this side of her family which she doesn’t know existed.   

A guy is singing a jazz song. Many of them sitting and enjoying their drinks. A few were dancing. It’s so huge; she couldn’t recognize all those faces.
