Meanwhile, Naomi danced with Derek just how Nick has imagined. But there’s no big smile on her face, and her body is stiff. Derek felt equally awkward too so they quickly ended their dance and Naomi went dancing with Jorge. With him, she felt somewhat relaxed.

“Hey, still thinking about Nick?” Jorge asks.

“Yes,” she nods.

“He’s stuck with our dad and his dad, I feel bad for that guy, I can imagine how hard that for him,” Jorge said. For the first time, Jorge took Nick’s side because he really sympathizes with him. Maybe he’s not okay with their relationship but he admires Nick more than his brother Magnus.

“Yeah, you are right,” she said. After some time, Naomi went to sit beside Derek and watched the other people dancing. Naomi looked at her phone, there’s no calls or a message from Nick which worried her. She decided to call him later.
