Nick is standing before her, he’s wearing his reading glasses, wearing sweatpants, and a hoodie but still, managed to look breathtakingly hot.

He’s surprised to see her as much as she’s surprised. His eyes sparkled in love, the same old love she had seen in his eyes before. That made her heart race.

But soon his face turned stern and his demanding her to say why she’s here.

“Is Magnus here?” she asked even knowing that he won’t be here.

“He’s not here. Don’t you know that he has moved out,” he asked.

“Yeah, I know. I just… I should go,” she said and turned to leave, can’t able to stand in this embarrassment.

That moment, something unexpected happened, Nick held her hand and yanked her in telling, “Come inside,”

In a blink of an eye, she’s inside his apartment. It’s dark and she thought why can’t he switch on the lights.

“Why are you here now? Instead of going home?” he asked walking to the kitchen.
