Leo's POV

'' Do I hear 20 for this ravishing beauty,'' the auctioneer asked and when no one answered. He said.

''10 thousand, going once, and going twice,'' the auctioneer announced my bid.

As no one still placed a higher bid, the auctioneer was about to announce me as the winner but Hugo stopped it.

'' 20 thousand,'' Hugo said, placing a much higher offer for the flavour of the evening.

'' Do I hear a 25 thousand,'' the auctioneer announced, seeking a higher bid.

I was mad. I didn't know why Hugo was doing this, so I placed a much higher offer.

'' 40 thousand,'' I said, and the auctioneer smiled.

'' Do I hear 50 thousand,'' the auctioneer announced, seeking a much higher bid.

'' 100 thousand,'' Hugo let out and I got even furious.

I didn't even let the auctioneer say another word before I placed a much higher bid.

'' 300 thousand,'' I said, and Hugo looked at me smirking.

'' Do I hear a 350 thousand,'' the auctioneer asked.

'' 400 Thousand, for that lovely lady,'' Hugo said again.
