CHAPTER CXXIX: LATE NIGHT CONVERSATIONS
Angela’s POV
The kids got really exhausted after we went to the palace that they immediately fell asleep as soon as we arrived here. I looked at my phone to check if there are any messages from Lucifer but instead of seeing any messages from him, I saw a text from the princess, asking if we finally arrived home. I replied her as I washed my face in the bathroom and get ready to bed.
Maybe I should call Lucifer first. I hope he answers. I sat on the sofa as soon as I was able to check if all the doors are locked. I dialed Lucifer’s number and called him. The phone is ringing but then he suddenly ended it so I called him once again. I thought he wouldn’t answer again but then he suddenly spoke. [What do you want?]
“You.” I said. “Why didn’t you call me as soon as you arrive there? Are you mad at me?”
