CHAPTER CXXVIII: BAKING WITH THE PRINCESS

Angela’s POV

“Thank you so much for visiting here sweetheart, I really thought you wouldn’t come.” Princess Melody said as she prepared the ingredients for the chocolate souffle that we’ll be making. She seems to be so familiar with the cabinets and the locations of every ingredients. I mean, I thought she just bakes with the ingredients ready. This only concludes that she’s really used of baking by herself which I find truly amazing of her.

She asked me to separate the eggs into two bowls as she whisked the flour, sugar, and salt then I put the egg yolks. “It’s a pleasure to get an invitation from you, your highness.”

Princess Melody suddenly stopped whisking and pouted at me. “It’s mommy, remember? Is that really hard to say that? Or maybe you don’t really want to call me mom?”

“N-No, i-it’s not like that. I-I’m really sorry your—m-mommy…”

She then giggled. “That sounds better. From now on, you have to call me that okay?”

I nodded. “O-Okay…”
