Jason’s pov

“We have to bring him into this.” Luke sighed. “I know you are reluctant to involve him, but I’m sure he’d understand. We need something, and he has his ways of getting us answers.”

Another week has passed and we still haven’t gotten any information about where the threat is or even his name. He was frustrated and so was I but involving Cole doesn’t feel right to me. The poor kid just wants to start afresh without any baggage.

“I can’t drag Cole into this again Luke.” I answered. “He’s leaving next week. If I tell him this, then he’d drop whatever he needs to do for himself and help, and I don’t want that.”

“Then what do we do?” Josh asked from across the room. “Planning is your forte,” he pointed at me. “Organising is yours,” he pointed at look. “Fighting is mine and Carlton’s'' Carlton nodded in agreement. “Getting information is Cole’s thing, and right now, that is what we need.”
