Chapter 46

Adira’s POV

Hours had to have passed, maybe even the night, and I began to wonder if Alpha Liam was coming for us. The bond I felt for him remained intact and I hoped that meant he was okay, and that the elders didn’t imprison him. I knew how strong his wolf was from sparring with him and I honestly doubted another wolf could take him, but I never saw him against multiple wolves at once. But then I remembered he wouldn’t be alone and Alpha Zane would be by his side fighting too, to save Lyra.

“Grrr, I am over this waiting game. Shouldn’t Prince Charming have saved us by now?” Lyra now asks and I have to chuckle at her reference to Zane being Prince Charming.

“I’m sure he is doing all he can to find us.” I tell her, hoping what I say is true, but knowing Zane, he would do everything in his power to find her.

“Well, I am over this cold cement floor.” Lyra says as she reaches up into her head and pulls something from her hair.
