Chapter 47

Liam’s POV

Alpha Zane and I had retreated to his office after the interrogation of all those involved with the elders. Both of us needed a drink badly and we needed to come up with a plan to rescue our mates. As we sat there regrouping our thoughts with our drink in hand, there was a knock on Alpha Zane’s door. When the person entered, they held an envelope in their hand and handed it to Alpha Zane, and then quickly left the room. He wasted no time opening the letter, and as he pulled it out of the envelope, I moved to the edge of my seat, in anticipation of what information it held.

“It’s from Adira’s father.” Alpha Zane tells me before he continues to read, “He wants me to mate with Aira, and in return, he will free Lyra and Adira back into your custody. They are never to step foot on Crimson’s land again.”
