The door opens and look towards it and see my mum. I expect it just to be her; instead, both my dads walk in as well.

"You spoke to Aurelia," my mum states, and I nod.

"You didn't tell me?" I thought they would have.

"We weren't doing it to hurt you, but we realised you have to be hurt by love to learn from it. Us telling you wouldn't have worked. You refused to listen about Veronica," Darius smiles and sits.

"So why are you here?" I laugh slightly.

"Just to make you aware, we're here for you after if you need to talk," my mum says before hugging me.

"I'll be fine," I shrug slightly.

"Which we knew because Quinn is your mate. Had this happened and you not had a mate, it would have hurt more," my dad smiles. It's weird that they are so accepting of Quinn despite Darius' first reservations, even though he got on board this.

Maybe because Julian was worse than Quinn?
