KIEFER DY MONTEFALCO’S POV

“You will be banned from visiting this company for a month,” I coldly told her, which made her eyes widen.

“What on earth have you been doing, Baltazar? Your manager keeps on calling me as well, you’re neglecting your job,” I added.

I couldn’t care less what she was planning to do with her life, but it angers me that someone keeps on constantly calling me for this woman’s whereabouts.

“Can you blame me, Kiefer? There is something about that woman I couldn’t quite point out but you care for her,” She gritted her teeth.

“I never thought I’d see you care for someone like that because you were heartless, I’ve witnessed that, and yet, you care for her even if she was only your secretary,”

“Is she your mate?” She solemnly asked, but I didn’t say anything to her because I don’t have to tell her anything.

“Your silence means yes, ha! Are you going to reject her?” Hayleigh asked. What she asked made me glare at her.
