Grey stared at Maya, his eyes fixed on hers, and full of questions. "What did you just say?" He asked her.

Maya swallowed. "I don't...want to be your wife," she said nervously. Afraid that her voice might give her away, she looked down.

"You do not have a choice in this matter," he said, placing his hands on the rail of the balcony, and she was caged by his body.

She gulped nervously. "I'm not going to marry you," she said to him, and a sudden confidence boosted inside of her, and she raised her eyes up in defiance.

"What gives you the confidence that you won't?" He inquired, with a raised brow.

"You asked me to marry you, and I'm objecting to it," she replied.

He dropped his hands from the rails, twirling her hair around with his index finger. "That is where you are mistaken, brown eyes. I'm not asking you to marry me, I'm telling you to. It's more like an order," he said with a dead serious look on his face.
