Catherine pov.

Just being around Lucas makes me laugh. He is a great dancer as well as a funny guy. After a lot of his jokes and sweet talk, I felt like this day would last forever.

"So, whatever happens tonight, I hope you're prepared?" Lucas said, looking at me.

I looked back at him, taking in his appearance. His bright blue eyes sparkled mischievously in the dim light of the room, and his messy blonde hair fell over his forehead. I could smell his cologne, a mixture of sandalwood and citrus. His voice was smooth and comforting, like warm honey.

"Lucas, you should know that when someone feels nervous, they tend to act stupid." I said, feeling my nerves creeping up.

He moved closer to me, taking my hands in his. I could feel the warmth of his skin, and it made me feel safe.

"As I previously stated, princess, you do not need to be concerned because I will take care of everything." Lucas said, looking into my eyes. "Make this the most memorable day of your life."
