Violet POV

It was a beautiful summer afternoon and I was relaxing near the pool with a book in my hand. Dave was swimming under the watchful eye of his new nanny, Zal.

“Here you go!” Dave shouted as he splashed water over her.

I chuckled and shook my head as I looked at her. Zal was Niti’s older sister. After Niti, Dave was extremely depressed. The child had seen so much trauma in his five years that it was enough for a lifetime. When I was selecting a new nanny for him, Zal came and revealed her wish that she would like to be Dave’s nanny.

There was no better alternative than Zal. She smelled like her sister which was calming to Dave. Many of her features resembled Niti and so I was sure that Dave would instantly gel with her. Just as I thought, Dave took an immediate liking to her.

With Emily gone forever from our lives, Dane was relaxed. I could never forget the scene when his wolf brought a very mutilated body of Emily and dropped in on my feet.
