“What?” Ares said. How could they be betrayed, this was unheard of, wolves had stuck together whenever the vampires came.

“Yes. You heard me right old friend we were breached from within, a clean passage was given to the enemies.”

Ares shook his head in disbelief. He still could not wrap his head around this thing. With so many wolves departing what hope had remained for anyone else? Anyone else surviving, he would say none whatsoever. But in all fairness, this was a bad way to go for many. He had calculated their exact movements, didn’t he? But still, all this happened.

“At least you're alright mate,” Ares said taking heavy breaths as though he had run a marathon, stepping up and gripping the other man’s arm. “It would be alright G.”
