Chapter 44 Escaping It All

Everything was going well. Alpha had settled to visit the hospital at least once in the night and a few days had gone by but he still needed something, a sort of personal home for the little one.

“Jason, you alright?” his wife asked him. He came out of these thoughts and found himself in his bed right next to his wife.

“Huh?” he asked still sort of in his thoughts.

“You are acting really odd lately,” she said.

“I am sure and I don’t need a reminder from you about my own well-being,” he said and strode out of the room.

“My well-being, since when has she ever taken care of my well-being,” he said.

“Fuck it,” he said and decided to go on a run through the woods to clear his mind.
