Part 52 # Complex Reflection

Arren was surprised to see Clark in the training room. However, his presence also piqued her curiosity.

With hesitation, she reached out and took Clark's hand, rising to her feet.

"What's going on?" Arren asked, trying to quell her curiosity.

Clark smiled asymmetrically. His eyebrow raised slightly as Arren was slow to catch on to his intentions.

"Our plan, Arren."

Arren was taken aback. She didn't expect this conversation to come so quickly.

Arren thought that the escape plan was still being formulated and wouldn't be executed anytime soon. Her feelings became uncertain.

"Uh… Is it going to happen this soon?" she asked, uncertain.

For some reason, Arren suddenly felt unprepared. She had just enjoyed a martial arts training session with Leon, which had been quite enjoyable, and she didn't want it to end so soon.

"What do you mean by 'this soon'?" Clark retorted, clearly frustrated with Arren's apparent lack of enthusiasm for their mission.
