"Sorry, I have to go, Mrs. and Mr.," Clark excused himself, bowing his head.

Arren was taken aback, only realizing Clark's presence there.

"Y-yes. Thank you, Clark," Arren said briefly. Leon nodded at him calmly.

"Can we continue in the bedroom?" Leon asked, lifting Arren into his arms.

"Put me down! I can walk on my own," Arren yelled with embarrassment. She was now being carried in Leon's arms as he walked.

"You're tired, and I'm carrying you to prevent you from walking and hurting your feet," Leon explained, his forehead creased while Arren pouted.
