Beth?

Alex's POV.

It was late at night, I had been trying to sleep, but it wasn't coming forth. I crawled out of the bedsheets, wore my slip on, and dragged my heavy feet to the table by the window.

Sitting on the chair and looking out the window, I recalled how this place used to be a secret place for Beth and I to meet. We had the best of memories in here, which is a more reason why I had decided not to leave this house.

Suddenly, my mind went to Sarah.

“I hope she's doing fine. She's really a tough one and won't even admit it when she's weak.” I mumbled under my breath.

“I wished I had killed Marcus when I had the chance to, I shouldn't have banished him from the Pack; I should have robbed him the right to live.” I cussed in my thoughts as my hand clenched in a fist.

“If I had killed him, none of this would be happening. He won't have killed Beth or tried to take over the Pack like he's trying to do now.”
