Announced The Alpha

Alex's POV.

I turned back immediately but the figure was no longer there, I popped my head out of the window, but there was nobody there anymore.

I decided to go to the kitchen to get a bottle of chill water, and as I walked down the stairs, plenty of thoughts ran through my mind.

“Was I hallucinating?”

“But she stood there for a while, staring at me. I possibly can't have hallucinated that. It was real.”

“Is Beth alive? Of course not, why am I even thinking about such? It's been four years now since she died.”

“I think it's time to return to Wendy, I'll go see her first thing tomorrow morning.”

I grabbed a bottle of water, chugged the content and went back to my room. The thought of Beth had cost me my sleep, there was no longer an iota of sleep in my eyes.
