Chapter 81

******Elvira's POV******

We got out of the car and Eric together with Erika were standing by the entrance awaiting our arrival. My gaze first fell on Eric who had a warm smile on his face that made his eyes twinkle, then they shifted to Erika and I noticed something odd. She had dark bags under her eyes, her skin seemed to be pale like someone suffering from wolf fever and she looked very weak.

I couldn't help but feel rather concerned about her and kept on wondering what happened here while we were gone. Did the person do something to her?

Looking at my mates, they probably saw what I saw even if they didn't say anything about it. The three of us walked to the entrance with me walking in between them as each one of them held each one of my hands in theirs.

Both their hands were warm and I couldn't help but get tingles. I felt so lucky that I had them. They always made me feel safe and what they did was a sweet gesture that I appreciated a lot.
