Ava

I woke up to the sun softly kissing on my eyelids. I peered my eyes open slowly and looked towards the window where I saw Jenny was sitting on the couch while reading a book.

“ Hey,” she said in a small voice as soon as she heard me sitting up.

“ Good morning,” I said, my voice was hoarse and dry.

“ Did you wait all night?” I asked when she stood up and walked to me.

“ No, I came at dawn,” she replied.

“ Are you alright now,” she asked as she sat next to me.

I knew she would not believe me right now but one for sure I don't want to talk about what happened yesterday.

I am being patient right now because of a strange dream I had last night.

“ Would you like to have your breakfast here or would you like to join the rest of us?” Jenny asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

“ No. I don't want to see his face,” I spat.

“ He won't be there. He is busy right now,” she said.
