109. "Lights Are Calling"

Olive’s POV

The next day arrived, and the gloomy darkness disappeared as the sun’s rays caressed the ground.

Greypi departed from the cabin for work, leaving me by myself.

Once I finished washing the dishes, I tidied up the area surrounding the cabin. I gathered all the soiled garments and arranged them on a rack. Right as I was about to launder them in the washing machine, the electricity suddenly went out.

“Oh, what a bummer.”

Due to this unforeseen circumstance, I had no alternative but to venture outside and wash the clothes in the river.

I haven’t tried doing that. Well, my memories are limited, so I am not sure if I haven’t really washed in the river.

Stepping out of the cabin, I clutched the bundle of soiled garments in my grasp, ready to embark on the task of washing them.

The moment my feet touched the ground, a gentle breeze caressed my face, carrying with it the invigorating scent of nature.

Inhaling deeply, I couldn’t help but exclaim, “Oh, how truly refreshing!”
