I could see the hurt in her eyes when she left. Sinai wasn't the type to oppose me but I couldn't do anything at the moment.

"There's been only trouble since I met you kitten, should I really let you go.?" I turned to face Ava who didn't seem to understand what I was saying. Her loss of memory was really critical which made her seem like a chick caught in a bizarre cold.

I stared at her innocent face, her hair was scattered all over her shoulders and raising my hands towards her neck, I shoved them to the back then removed the strands that stuck on her eyes.

Just like that, I gazed at her for few minutes then stood up and walked towards the door then stopped and turned back. "Don't go anywhere do you understand?" I asked and she nodded like a six year old kid and with that I shut the door and left.

The passage was serene with the guards absent. It seemed like everyone was sent out of the pack house as I couldn't find a single soul we within the periphery.
