(Serena's POV)

As I entered the study he closed the door behind me. He stood in front of me, staring at me for a while.

"Why, Serena?" He asked in a broken voice.

His voice made a piece of my heart break. He was never the one to be vulnerable. He stood strong even in the worst conditions.

"What's wrong?" I asked in a small voice. My voice felt like it was somewhere hidden in my throat.

"What's wrong, Serena? You are seriously asking me." He said as he made his way to the table. He raised a file in his hand and then banged it on the table.
