Chapter 51

(Serena's POV)

I spread my arms, groping the person next to me in bed but only the soft pillow that touches my palm. As I opened my eyes, I frowned when I didn't see Marcus on the bed. It's only five past six.

Then I totally forgot that Marcus is always an early bird. He must be at work.

Staring at the chandelier above me, I wonder how would things turn out if I didn't meet Marcus again. My life would be as peaceful as before. It feels like my heart is getting worst whenever Marcus fluttered me or hurt me emotionally. It's pounding crazily like it didn't use to.

I really need to see a Doctor to be updated about my condition.

As my thoughts were flying everywhere, my stomach whined for food. Damn... It's too early for breakfast.
