EMILY'S POV

“He is the one!” The old wolf thrust his finger forward.

I looked, he was pointing at the Tax Wolf. I looked at the tax wolf, who snapped at him immediately.

“How dare you point at me over anything. My allegiance Is pledged to the alpha and the Luna, I could not do anything against them.”

“You liar.” The old wolf growled at him.

“You are the one who suggested that the taxes grieved for the Queen's village inhabitants be taken away so the palace can send the finance which you wanted too. Your greed is unquestionable. if you could do that, who knows what other atrocities you have committed.”

“Guards execute the tax wolf for causing a rebellion and revolution with dark magic.” I read out his sentence and watched the guards drag him out to stay and pin him down as well.

“Kill them both. I don't need offenders like them in my palace.” I raised my hand to signal the execution. Other members of the council were shivering where they stood.
