CASSANDRA’S POV

The sunlight fell on my face irritating me more than I could take as I groaned in annoyed that I forgot to drape the damn curtains before I fell asleep.

I turned around and pushed my face into a pillow and nuzzled my face into it rubbing it with my cheek before huffing.

Wait a minute! Why the pillow is hard?

I frowned then opened my eyes just to look at the view which knocked all the air from my lungs.

I saw my husband looking at me grinning as he rested his head on his palm supporting it on his elbow on the pillow and I realized I was rubbing on his chest.

His black hair falling on his eyes making him look raw and hot and his green eyes twinkling with amusement as he had a grin.

“good morning, princess”, Ivan spoke with his raspy morning voice making my stomach flutter with the butterflies he gives me.
