Chapter Forty-Seven

The next morning……

She woke up to a knock on her door the next morning.

"What's the problem this morning," she sighs, yawning aloud as she opened the door, to see Adriel standing.

"What's the problem?"

"Pack up, we're leaving this place." He added it was too early to tell a joke, she frowned immediately.

"Why? Why are we leaving?

"Did you not read the letter?" He asked looking intently at her, she avoided his gaze.

"Sure."

"I'm not sure about that. Because if you had read the letter when you'd know the dinner scheduled to hold in the next town," He explain, then scoffed.

"I'm supposed to tell you this?" She rolled her eyes.

"I'll be down shortly. How long are we staying?" She asked.

"We might not return. We'll lodge at one of the hotels owned by Dad, so not to worry" He answered her, his eyes widened in surprise.

"Huh?"

"We're late already," and with that, he walked away
