Chapter One Hundred

Adriel woke up in the morning sitting down at the edge of his bed, he ran his fingers through the hair on his head. He couldn't believe that Lola was no longer by his side.

The past four months of his life have been a life lived on everyday regret, without knowing what else to do. He has always regretted losing the kind Lola who always cared and loved him, but still, he couldn't appreciate but rather overlook it.

Now he knows what exactly Lola means to him, he has missed waking up to see a woman who loves him bring in a cup of coffee with beams of a smile on her face saying good morning.

It was as if his whole life was starting afresh, he was still in deep thoughts as he didn't know when tears started falling down his cheeks. He raised his head just to see a picture frame of himself and Lola in their wedding dress.

The picture reminds him of the day he accepted to be with Lola till death departed them, yet he couldn't fulfill the promise he once made in the presence of his family memb
