There was a slight knock on the door.

"Come in"his mother walked in with his favorite coffee in her hands. She looked at how messy he had made the room. The entire room was in shambles.

"Did a tornado blow in here? She asked quietly at Gabriel but he instead had a hurtful laugh.

"Look at the moon tonight, Mom. It shone brighter tonight. Is that a sign that they are safe or they are dead? He sighs ignoring her question.

"Well, for me I think it's a sign that your unborn baby and your wife are ok," she said with a shaky voice, not sounding convincing enough.

Even she doubted her hunch."Mom, why does it seem harder for one when he decides to change for the better?

"Well, the tougher the challenges the tougher you'd be. Let's be hopeful that she's fine and your baby too". She smiled sadly.

"I'm tired of being hopeful. Now I just want to see if she's okay, waiting is draining my leftover strength."He confessed.
