Chapter 70

Cinderella saw her mom talking with someone on call. She entered the room and asked her mom who it was. Chelsea explains to her daughter that Aunt Emma called to check on them to see how they were doing.

Chelsea's daughter, Cinderella, had always been curious about her family. Being just three years old, she was starting to comprehend the concept of family and the people around her. So when she heard her mom talking about family and crying, she immediately became concerned.

Chelsea, trying her best to compose herself, picked up Cinderella and held her tightly. Cinderella looked into her mother's teary eyes and asked, "Mommy, why are you crying? What happened?"

Chelsea sighed and wiped away her tears with the back of her hand. It wasn't easy for her to explain her emotions to a toddler, but she knew she had to make Cinderella understand. "Mommy is just a little sad, sweetie. Sometimes, adults feel sad, just like you do sometimes. But don't worry, I'll be okay."
