“It is all right. I will return to my office and wait for you.”

“That is good. See you later.”

After the call ended, Mr. Owens got more calls from his in-laws and relations, and he assured them that the matter was not beyond his control.

At 10 am, they reported at the EFCC Office.

At the EFCC Headquarters

They walked to Mr. Jobs' office and discovered that he had been expecting them. After they settled down, he shut his office and began by tendering an apology.

“I wish to apologize for the inconvenience my men must have caused you, Mr. Owens.”

“You are welcome, Mr. Jobs. I bear no grudges, and must commend that your men are well-trained.”

Now, the counter breaking news had occupied the electronic media, but the three men ignored the television that was in Mr. Jobs' office and proceeded with their meeting. Then, Mr. Jobs elucidated.

“Yes. I took that measure as a camouflage.”
