Andrea was standing right in front of me, and with the look in her eyes, I could tell that she was hurt. Cleo walked away without sensing her presence, and I tried to move over to her, but she turned away from me.

"Andrea, please don’t do this. I can’t live without you, and you mean a whole lot to me. I know it seems like everything is going off right now, but if you would let me explain, then we could get back on the right track. Whatever you saw with Cleo is not what you think!" I cried.

Despite how loud my voice was, she didn’t stop in the least. I felt like every part of me was throbbing in pain. How could I change everything now? What could I do so that there wouldn’t be more misunderstandings between us?
