Catherine's POV

''Are you sure of what you are saying?'' Lucas asked, while I nodded and went into deep thought. I was not easily scared of things or people, but meeting these alphas sent an icy shiver down my spine. Whenever they talk to me, I feel belittled before then, no matter how hard I try.

''I have to tell Sandra.'' He suggested, but I kicked against it, ''There will be no need for that. I don't need others to hear about it,'' I grumbled and stood to my feet.

Aimlessly, I walked around as I pondered in thoughts before speaking. ''Maybe I should just leave,'' I suggested while holding Lucas's gaze, waiting for him to accept my suggestion, but he shook his head in disapproval. ''It's not the right decision, Cathy. You can't run away from it,'' He said and went into deep thought.
