Day one..

Author's pov....

There was news going around. Unfortunately, it had to skip King Grimgor and his ally. It was intentional.

I overheard Viktor saying something to Grimgor's father. I was his secretary, so I know a lot more than I should. I never intended to eavesdrop.

Never!

But it just happens.

Okay, today I was about to get a call across to the former king, King Ferdinand, when he asked me to stand outside and wait a little while.

"Do you suggest I stay put and watch all this, Viktor? What if things go wrong and my son ends up dead?" I was just outside when I heard

"No, not really, my king. I trust your son, and he is not used to failing, so this won't be a lot for him like you think," a voice responded, whom I suppose to be Viktor.

I know at this point I am supposed to walk out, but...

I didn't walk out.

Don't get me wrong, please. I don't eavesdrop on my seniors; I just couldn't walk out on such an interesting topic.

I fvcking couldn't.
