CHAPTER 19

ARIA

It was just like i expected. Almost half of the inhabitants of this kingdom were present. People dressed beautifully scattered everywhere on the western grounds of the palace. There was a line of breakfast buffet at the main entrance of the eastern part of the castle. Lots of gifts were on the table opposite the buffet and at the high balcony just above the entrance, Adrian was seated with Veronica.

My eyes had turned a darker shade of blue overnight. A gift Aries had given me and I loved it. I noticed it this morning as i checked myself out in the mirror after i got dressed in the neatest gown i owned. It wasn't much, just a plain midnight blue gown with tatterred hems. The darkness in my eyes was prominent and my gown brought out the colour of my eyes.

I felt Veronica's gaze on me immediately i made an appearance. The palace grounds became quiet as the people turned to regard me, probably wondering why i dared to make an appearance in a function like this.
