CHAPTER 25

ARIA

We walked on a straight muddy path for minutes, my once clean boody smudged with brown mud. The heat from the sun made it uncomfortable for me. My forehead was coated with beads of sweat and my shirt was soaked too. I had removed my riding cape the minute we arrived at this groovy area, from the heat.

The more we walked, the more i discovered that we were close to the border of Cosmos Kingdom.

"The border?" I asked, my eyes assessing Adrian and Veronica. The heat had gotten to them too. Adrian was sweating profusely, his hair, wet from the sweat. Veronica looked calm, but her forehead was glistening too.

"Yes." Adrian replied, his eyes looking around, assessing, calculating. "A few more meters and we'll be able to see the border."

A few more minutes into the walk a wooden house came into view. I sighed from relief.

"We're here." Adrian announced. From the distance, I saw a petite wooden house, up the hill. Immediately, we all started marching up to the house with desperation
