While in exile

I had been in the cell for too long, and there had been no hope of being released, so I had to just stay low for now and hope that things would get better tomorrow.

"Come, on. The guards are already coming," AK-307 said to me as she made me regain my attention.

We have been given an assignment to work in the mines on the next labor day, and we have already been positioned on where we are going to work.

I and my friend have already been given the same station to work on, and we have been trying our best, but still, full force was used on us by the people that guard the mine.

"Come on, work more; can't you just do something straight?" A guard barked, "If it is to commit crimes, you would go for it with full force; come keep on working."

The guards have been positioned to use the whip on us and on anyone who has refused to work. It has been that way since we started the work, so we would be working under that same pattern.
