After Anaya had spoken, one man from the crowd got up, picked up a mic, and asked, “My Lady, with all due respect, what in the world are you talking about?” His name was Gerald, and he was a governor.

Another man got up after and said, “Yes, we understand that the werewolf world has its occasional wars in the constant struggle for power and dominance, but why do we humans have to get involved?"

“This isn’t just about the werewolves. The threat I speak of is one that could end all life as we know it, and I need all your assistance to stop it,” Anaya said.

“First you deny humans the chance to lead the council, and now you need our help? You can count me and my people out,” Gerald said, then put down his mic. He was about to leave the meeting room when Anaya suddenly yelled.

“SIT DOWN!"

Gerald turned around to face Anaya, and she continued, “You should be very careful with the choices you make, all of you. I have enough information to bring every single one
