“What was my second personality like?” Alpha Steven asked. We both walked through the small forest that extended from within the mansion's premises and into the outside world. Dried leaves crumpled and rustled under our feet, and birds of different species chirped and sang in the trees.

The question he asked made my heart jump. “If I were to tell him about his second personality now, I might end up telling him that I felt a mate bond with him, and thats not going to be good,” I thought to myself with worry on my face.

“Well, your second personality was an adventurous one. He loved to go to different places and to make new friends. He was very cheerful and funny,” I said, trying to be as vague as possible.

“Are you trying to say I'm not cheerful and funny?” Steven asked.

“My lord, you hardly ever smile, and when you do, it's a lot more intimidating than cheerful. Not that I don't like your smile; it's just that you're... not very good at being happy,” I rep
